cineDESK: A Simulation Enviroment for Virtual Filmmaking

Abstract

We present cineDESK: a touch-screen toolkit for cinematic education based on Unreal Engine. cineDESK was developed at the Immersive Arts Space of the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) to explore novel methods of teaching visual language to filmmakers.
