Abstract

Neripteron siquijorense (Recluz, 1844) Figs 3 I–J Nerita siquijorensis Récluz, 1844: 198. Pseudodostia? siquijorensis: Lozouet & Plaziat 2008: 98 –99, pl. 13, figs 6–7. Neripteron siquijorense: Fukumori & Kano 2014, 217. Material examined. Dam Bay, mangrove plantation, 1 specimen. Abundance. Rare. Measurements. Up to 10 mm (Lozouet & Plaziat 2008). Ecological notes. Development with free swimming veliger (Fukumori & Kano 2014). Found in estuaries (Fukumori & Kano 2014), does not extend to low salinity estuarine upper reach (Lozouet & Plaziat 2008). Found on sediment surface in upper intertidal zone. Relation to mangroves. Eurybiotic. Distribution in Vietnam. Central coast. General distribution. Iriomote and Okinawa Is (Japan), Palawan I. (Philippines) (Fukumori & Kano 2014).
