Development with free swimming veliger (Fukumori & Kano 2014). Found in estuaries (Fukumori & Kano 2014), does not extend to low salinity estuarine upper reach (Lozouet & Plaziat 2008). Found on sediment surface in upper intertidal zone. Relation to mangroves. Eurybiotic. Distribution in Vietnam. Central coast. General distribution. Iriomote and Okinawa Is (Japan), Palawan I. (Philippines) (Fukumori & Kano 2014).
