Abstract

Petrobrasia signum Krömmelbein, 1965 Fig. 7, 12a–c; Fig. 8, 1a–c 1965a Petrobrasia signum n. sp. —Krömmelbein, p. 195, pl. 14, fig. 17. 1971 Petrobrasia signum Krömmelbein —Krömmelbein & Weber, p. 43–44, pl. 8, figs 33–34. Dimensions: Topotypic carapace, BfB 7806, length 0.82mm, height 0.51mm, width 0.31mm; carapace, BfB 7807, length 0.96mm, height 0.58mm, width 0.40mm. Remarks (Bate et al. herein): The species Petrobrasia signum is re-illustrated by Krömmelbein & Weber (1971, pl. 8, figs 33–34) without further comment. Two morphotypes figured, one small and slender, the other larger and wider; not figured in present paper.
