Abstract

Résumé Cet article présente le compte-rendu de deux expériences d’enseignement à distance réalisées lors de la période de confinement liée à la crise de la COVID-19. Au moment de ce changement rapide et imprévu de mode d’enseignement, les deux formateurs impliqués ont pu observer des modifications importantes et surprenantes de la part de certains étudiants en matière d’implication et de motivation : alors que ces derniers ne s’impliquaient que peu pendant les formations en présentiel, ils ont paru beaucoup plus motivés et impliqués de manière très pertinente dans les activités réalisées à distance, qu’elles soient synchrones ou asynchrones. Il semble que l’autonomie et la liberté d’organisation spatiotemporelle qu’ils ont trouvées ont eu un impact bénéfique sur leur habitus d’apprenant, au point que les formateurs se sont demandé comment garder cette distance et cette liberté une fois la crise sanitaire passée. Summary This article presents two distant education experiments carried out during the period of containment related to the COVID-19 crisis. At the time of this rapid and unforeseen change in teaching mode, the two trainers involved were able to observe significant and surprising changes on the part of some participants in terms of involvement and motivation: whereas the latter were only slightly involved during the face-to-face training, they seemed much more motivated and involved in a very relevant way in the activities carried out at a distance, whether synchronous or asynchronous. It seems that the autonomy and freedom of spatial and temporal organization they found had a beneficial impact on their learning habit, to the point that the trainers wondered how to keep this distance and freedom once the health crisis is over
