Endrődy-Younga [p] // Caccobius / (Caccophilus) / elephantinus / n.sp. Balth. / J 66 [hw] / Paratypus [p, ochreous label]’. PARATYPE (♀): ‘Soil-Zoological Exp. / Congo-Brazzaville / Lefinie reservation / Nambouli river [p] // 12.1.1964 No. 658 / sifted and singled / from elephant excr./ leg. Endrődy-Younga [p] // Caccobius / (Caccophilus) / elephantinus / n.sp. Balth. / ♀ 66 [hw] / Paratypus [p, ochreous label]’.
