Antibody Characterization Report for Midkine

Abstract

A peer-reviewed antibody characterization article corresponding to this Zenodo preprint is openly available at F1000Research: https://doi.org/10.12688/f1000research.130587.1 This report presents a guide to selecting high-quality commercial antibodies against Moesin by immunoblot (Western blot), immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence Midkine by immunoblot (Western blot) and immunoprecipitation on total cell lysates and conditioned media using a standardized experimental protocol based on comparing read-outs in knockout cell lines and isogenic parental controls. This work was supported in part by the Emory-Sage-SGC TREAT-AD center established by the National Institutes of Aging under award number U54AG065187.
