In the talk "Publishing Open Access: How to evaluate a journal's quality", Stefan Schmeja and Jessika Rücknagel provide an overview of important requirements for open access journals. The speakers address criteria that authors can consider to choose a suitable publication venue. Among other things, we will address the following questions: How does quality assurance work in the publication process? How can I assess the trustworthiness and professionalism of a journal? How can I find quality-assured journals?
