Abstract

19 Erebia euryale Weissbindiger Bergwald-Mohrenfalter Die ssp. isarica HEYNE 1895 besiedelt in Österreich u.a. den Nordalpenbereich, die ssp. adyte HÜBNER 1818 kommt in Österreich nur in Vorarlberg und Tirol vor (HUEMER & TARMANN 1993). Zur Verbreitung im Alpenraum vgl. SONDEREGGER (2005). Die Männchen der ssp. isarica besitzen in den Zellen 2, 4 und 5 schwarze Flecken, die Weibchen können zu einem geringen Prozentsatz weissgekernte Ocellen aufweisen. Bei der ssp. adyte finden sich in den Zellen 2, 4 und 5 bei beiden Geschlechtern weissgekernte Ocellen. Im Verwall grenzen die Areale der beiden Unterarten aneinander. An den Kontaktstellen kommt es zur Ausbildung von Mischpopulationen: z. B. Gaschurn, Verbellatal. Während in Klösterle, Nenzigast isarica fliegt, kommt etwa auf dem Zeinisjoch reine adyte, also mit weissgekernten Ocellen vor. Bereits auf früheren Exkursionen konnte dieser Sachverhalt festgestellt werden (SONDEREGGER 2005); bzgl. der Variationsbreite beider Taxa siehe ebenfalls SONDEREGGER (2005).
