Abundancia de coleópteros (Insecta: Coleoptera) en dos órdenes de macrohongos (Basidiomycota) de un bosque tropical de Panamá

Abstract

Se registró un total de 3423 coleópteros en 138 cuerpos fructíferos de macrohongos (i.e. Agaricales y Polyporales) colectados en el Parque Natural Metropolitano, durante abril, mayo y junio de 2017. El 54.8% de los ejemplares obtenidos son adultos (n=1875), el 45% son larvas (n=1541) y el 0.2% son pupas (n=7). Los coleópteros adultos se clasifican en 33 morfoespecies (msp), dentro de doce familias, mientras que los ejemplares inmaduros pertenecen a cinco familias distintas. Staphylinidae es la familia con mayor abundancia y riqueza (n=3118, 20 msp). El mes con mayor abundancia de coleópteros es abril (n=1383), sin presentar diferencia significativa con los otros meses de colecta (X2=2.193, d.f.=2, p=0.4398, Kruskal-Wallis). El orden de hongos con mayor abundancia de coleópteros es Polyporales (n=1753) sin presentar diferencia significativa con Agaricales (n=1670) (W=137, p=0.21, Wilcoxon). Las familias Ptiliidae, Ciidae y Tenebrionidae están más relacionadas con los hongos Polyporales, mientras que Erotylidae y Nitidulidae son más afines a hongos Agaricales (NMDS, stress= 0.087, R2=0.992).
