Composed Cognitive Maps (MCC or CCM) is a data collection method for crime analysis that is demonstrating greater diagnostic efficiency than traditional methods. The relevance of the neuro-psychological concepts "Visibility of information" and "episodic memory" is studied and discussed, explaining why the method leads to better visibility of the criminal situation, from the nature of the situation itself.
