Scambus pomorum

Abstract

Scambus pomorum (Ratzeburg, 1848) Notes Similar to S. elegans. The life cycle of this univoltine species is well described by Zijp and Blommers (2002). Found also exclusively hibernating on evergreen trees. Status: Confirmed. Records: The Netherlands (1), United Kingdom (7). First record: 31. XII. 1923 (Hancock (1925), United Kingdom). Hibernacula: LT (9). Sources: Hancock (1925) [Pimpla pomorum Ratz.], Zijp and Blommers (2002); Unpublished: iNaturalist. Also mentioned in: Fitton et al.
