The Heliophysics Software Search Interface (HSSI) is a new platform designed to improve the findability, discoverability, and citability of heliophysics software across programming languages. Built with strong community collaboration and metadata interoperability, it offers advanced search, resource submission, and automated metadata extraction to streamline software discovery. Funded by NASA’s HPOSS initiative, HSSI supports open-science practices and aims to provide a robust, interoperable search system tailored to heliophysics research needs.
