Catalogue of Tools Part II: CommuniCity's Pilot Projects

Abstract

This catalogue presents the outcomes of fifty-nine pilot projects completed throughout the CommuniCity initiative and for the third round of open calls. Each entry provides detailed information about the challenges addressed, the final beneficiaries and users of the solutions, the innovative technological solutions developed, and the contact information of the technology providers. Designed as a practical resource for cities, this catalogue offers replicable and adaptable solutions to common urban and rural challenges, enabling local administrations to find inspiration for tackling similar issues in their own contexts. Beyond cities, thecatalogue serves as a valuable tool for organisations focused on urban and rural development through technological innovations, offering insights to inspire future activities and strategies. Citizens, too, can explore these solutions as examples of how their cities can engage more with vulnerable groups and work towards a just and inclusive future. By sharing these ideas, they can advocate for more community-driven approaches to problem-solving in their cities and regions.
