
This paper introduces CoPhiEditor, a digital environment for scholarly editing developed within the framework of the ERC GreekSchools project. The platform addresses the need to integrate traditional papyrological practices with the computational technologies of Digital Scholarly Editing (DSE). At its core, CoPhiEditor employs a Domain-Specific Language (DSL) approach that formalizes editorial conventions while generating standardized TEI/EpiDoc XML output. This design supports computer-aided editing tasks such as textual restoration and the scholarly management of editorial hypotheses. Scholars can work together within shared environments, ensuring transparency, reproducibility, and interoperability. Complementing the editor, CoPhiViewer provides visualization and dissemination capabilities, extending the usability of the platform beyond the editing stage. Currently under active development, CoPhiEditor demonstrates the promise of DSL-based methodologies to create sustainable, standards-driven, and cooperative digital infrastructures for textual scholarship.
