Associations between cardiopulmonary fitness and cardiovascular events in survivors of childhood cancer: A report from the St. Jude Lifetime Cohort: de-identified datasets

Abstract

The datasets contain the de-identified data for each anaylsis done for the study published in Medicine and Science in Sport and Excercise entitled: "Associations between cardiopulmonary fitness and cardiovascular events in survivors of childhood cancer: A report from the St. Jude Lifetime Cohort". These data are part of the St. Jude Lifetime cohort. Below is the data dictionary for any variable found wihtin the five datasets: ID: de-identified, random ID for each participant age: age of each participant at evaluation agedx: age at dianosis of primary neoplasm gender: Male or Female racegrp: Race grouped by definition in the manuscript dxgrp: 1 = Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia; 2 = Acute Myeloid Leukemia; 3 = Other Leukemia; 4 = central nervous system; 5 = Hodgkin Lymphoma 6 = Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma; 7 = Bone Tumor (Ewings / Osteosarcoma); 8 = Nueroblastoma; 9 = Retinoblastoma; 10 = Soft Tissue sarcoma 11 = Wilms tumor; 12 = Other aaclassic_any: Any classic alkylating agent recieved; 1 = yes 0 = no aahvymetal_any: Any heavy metnal alkylating agent recieved; 1= yes 0 = no anthracyclnes_any: Any anythracyclines recieved; 1= yes 0 = no corticosteroids_any: Any corticosteroids recieved; 1= yes 0 = no bleomycin_any: Any bleomycin recieved; 1= yes 0 = no chestrt_yn: Any radiated that impacted the chest recieved; 1= yes 0 = no pstatus: Was the observation a participant or non-participant in the study lowvo2: Categorized vo2 based on their CPET, 1= Low/Below average (< 50%); 0 = above average/high (≥ 50%) pkmets: Peak mets achieved on CPET PA: Did the particpants meet the CDC physical activity guidelines based off the Center for Disease Control’s physical activity recommendations of 450 metabolic equivalent hours per week, 1= yes 0 = no smoker: 1=Past; 2=Current; 3=Never Cardiobase: Baseline cardiopulmonary disease; 1= yes 0 = no Obesity: Did the participant have a CTCAE grade of 2, 3, or 4; 1= yes, 0 = No HTN: Did the participant have a CTCAE grade of 2, 3, or 4; 1= yes, 0 = No Glucose: Did the participant have a CTCAE grade of 2, 3, or 4; 1= yes, 0 = No futime: Follow-up time for analysis d_cardiopulm: Did the participant die from cardiopulmonary disease: 1 = yes 0 = no.
