OSTrails maDMP Evaluation Series: Rethinking How To Evaluate DMPs: Funder's Edition

Abstract

This webinar is part of the maDMP Evaluation Webinar Series organised by the OSTrails Horizon Europe project, which examines how Data Management Plans (DMPs) are evaluated and designed across diverse research contexts and stakeholder needs. In this session, organised in collaboration with the TIER2 project, we present a DMP Evaluation Framework developed to support the semi-automated assessment of structured, machine-actionable DMPs. Using the Horizon Europe DMP template as a use case, we demonstrate how the framework facilitates both the evaluation of DMPs and the development or refinement of funder templates to address emerging needs and evolving best practices.
