Abstract

Methodology for vectorisation of archaeological features based on oblique aerial photographs for the Archaeological Map of the Czech Republic The aim of the methodology is to describe the procedure for vectorization of archaeological features and archaeologically significant landscape elements based on oblique images taken during aerial prospection. The product of the vectorisation is a geodatabase of vector features corresponding to the individual archaeological features. The methodology specifies the individual processing steps, the principles of data handling and the creation of basic descriptive metadata.
