This dataset is collated from arboriculturists in the UK and predominantly contains records from England, with some data from Wales, Scotland and Jersey. Each record in the dataset is an individual tree that has been assessed in the field. Different organisations contributed data to the dataset, so not all data is available for every record. The dataset has been cleaned to aid analysis (details in this report) but users are advised to exercise caution, particularly for the common_name_clean and generic_name_clean fields. The dataset was prepared and released by Dr Joe Fennell (https://www.jfscientific.co.uk) and Mr Luke Fay (https://www.treeworks.co.uk/) Reporting Issues and Feature Requests We welcome community feedback for improving future releases. Please submit issues and feature requests through the anonymous Google Form here: Link to Google Form (opens in new window). Field names and descriptions. Acknowledgements The authors are very grateful to the following people for their contributions to the previous stages of this project: Carl Walters (Open University), Natalie Cook (Treework Environmental Practice), Supritha Hudgur (Treework Environmental Practice), Magda Mach (Treework Environmental Practice), Sharon Durdant-Hollamby (Sharon Hosegood Associates), Madalena Vaz Monteiro (Forest Research), Hannah Walker (Forest Research), Kieron Doick (Forest Research), Kadmiel Maseyk (Open University) and Phil Wheeler (Open University). The previous phase of this project received financial support from The Open University’s “Open Societal Challenges”Programme under a grant awarded to Dr Kadmiel Maseyk, Dr Phil Wheeler and Dr Joe Fennell.
citations This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0
popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average
influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average
impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
