The presentation is part of a training, meant for conservators of heritage materials (art works, books, household objects) for them to get instructions on, and practical experience with, depositing their digital documentation in the DANS Data Station Social Sciences & Humanities. The focus is on lowering the threshold to depositing data in a data repository, for a target audience who may be more familiar with working with their hands than with computers. The training includes sections on FAIR research data management, metadata, access conditions and licences, and re-use.
