The investigation of functional and mechanical characteristics of an asphalt mixture for taxiways, specifically a mixture with glass powder (DNER - ME 054) framed in the particle size range remains within the service specification (DNIT 031/2006 - ES) constituted is the theme of this work. In this project we used the Marshall compaction method for determination and the asphalt binder content and molding of the samples determined that the functional characteristics of the mixture, that second result was shown to be possible to aggregate in asphalt mixing the glass powder.
