La zakat en Afrique : Perspectives et défis de l'entrepreneuriat social

Abstract

L'entrepreneuriat social en Afrique joue un rôle clé dans le développement, en répondant à des enjeux sociaux tout en générant des profits. Les entrepreneurs sociaux cherchent à résoudre des problèmes tels que la pauvreté, l'accès à l'éducation et à la santé, tout en créant des emplois durables. La zakat peut être un levier important pour financer ces initiatives, en soutenant des projets locaux et en favorisant l'autonomisation des femmes et des jeunes. Des exemples concrets, tels que la Zakat Foundation et le programme "Zakat for Entrepreneurs" au Sénégal, montrent comment la zakat peut soutenir l'entrepreneuriat social et l'inclusion économique. Cependant, plusieurs défis existent pour intégrer la zakat dans ce domaine, notamment la gestion des fonds, le manque de transparence, les obstacles culturels et la concurrence avec d'autres sociétés de financements. Pour surmonter ces défis, notre article propose le renforcement des mécanismes de gestion, d'utiliser des plateformes numériques pour améliorer la collecte et le suivi des fonds, et de sensibiliser les populations à l'importance de la zakat. Une meilleure coordination entre les institutions financières islamiques, gouvernements et sociétés civiles est essentielle pour intégrer la zakat dans les projets de développement durable en Afrique.
