Abstract

Data files for reproduction of the Figures in the New Astronomy Reviews article: Galactic dynamics in light of Gaia (Hunt, Vasiliev 2024). Plotting scripts and notebooks available at https://github.com/JASHunt/NARev_Gaia_Dynamics_Review *.npz files are necessary for the summary of Spectroscopic surveys in Figure 2 GaiaDR3 contains a subsample of the RVS catalogue (parallax_error / parallax < 0.2) with action-angle variables added, as calculated by Adrian Price-Whelan using Gala's MilkyWayPotential2022. Necessary for Figures 7,8,9,10,12,13,14
