Abstract

YOLOv8-BeyondEarth is a repository that contains tools and scripts to create YOLOv8 custom datasets, train the model, and post-process the obtained results. There is a strong focus on the use of satellite imagery and the application of the YOLOv8 model on solid planetary bodies for the automatic detection of boulders.
