This exploitation plan outlines the strategy for maximizing the impact of the Key Exploitable Results (KERs) from the PathOS project, which focuses on identifying and quantifying the key impact pathways of Open Science (OS) across academia, society, and the economy. The plan is designed to ensure that the results of PathOS continue to generate value and drive innovation beyond the project's conclusion. PathOS has secured support through the Horizon Results Booster program, specifically benefiting from Module B, which focuses on portfolio dissemination and exploitation. This program provides expert consultation and innovation management training to enhance the exploitation potential of PathOS outcomes, ensuring that dissemination strategies are robust and aligned with best practices. This exploitation plan represents the first version and serves as a living document. It will be continuously refined and updated throughout the project, with a final version to be produced at the project's conclusion. This iterative approach ensures that the exploitation strategies remain relevant and are adapted to any new insights or changes in the project’s trajectory. The plan is structured around each KER, detailing the innovation, exploitation, and sustainability strategies. Each KER section highlights the unique contributions of the result, the specific channels through which it will be exploited, and the long-term plans for sustaining its impact. These strategies include standardizing methodologies, developing, and maintaining toolboxes, offering services, securing institutional commitments, and exploring various funding strategies. Additionally, the plan emphasizes the importance of stakeholder engagement and impact measurement. By involving key stakeholders—such as researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders—the plan ensures that PathOS results are relevant, actionable, and aligned with the needs of those who will implement them. Regular assessments and feedback loops are established to refine the exploitation strategies and ensure that the KERs remain effective and impactful over time. Overall, this exploitation plan provides a comprehensive and dynamic framework for ensuring that the PathOS project delivers lasting value across Europe and beyond, contributing significantly to the advancement of OS practices and policies. * This project deliverable is currently pending approval by the EC.
