Abstract

This document contains the documentation of the dataset Members and Destinations of Spain’s Judiciary (2005-2023), created at the University of Barcelona. The work is part of the I+D+i project PREFJUDIPOL: Preferences, career, and territory. The politics of judicial inequality in Spain (PID-2020-113871RB-I00), funded by MICIU/AEI/10.13039/501100011033/. The data have been used to produce the following paper: Vallbé, Joan-Josep and Ramírez-Folch, Carmen and Lozano, Luis Mario, Glass ceiling or merit? The politics of judicial promotion in a civil law system (July 26, 2024). Pre-print version available at SSRN.
