
The article examines issues related to the importance of dialogic and monologue speech in the social and personal development of children. The author has covered issues of speech development of preschoolers. In addition, the article discusses the importance of teaching children to conduct a dialogue, develop the ability to listen to speech addressed to them, enter into a conversation and maintain it. The author has also revealed the content of teaching preschool children monologue speech.
