Le Savoir-Relation

Abstract

Researchers at the BONHEURS laboratory are exploring a new educational matrix for the 21st century. Around the concept of savoir-relations, they are imagining an education that no longer focuses on the acquisition of a fixed, compartmentalized body of knowledge, but rather on each child's ability to develop as a human being, in a world of multiple challenges. But what is relational knowledge? If it's an anthropological key that human beings need to acquire in order to live and work in society, it has very specific educational implications. It's up to the school to take charge, at a time when a vast informational upheaval is changing the face of society in every sector. Balancing oneself in society means learning how to make the most of all our knowledge and relationships to build a common well-being.
