Abstract

español: La publicación describe en líneas generales el origen y desarrollo del proyecto de investigación “Prevención, control y gestión de la gripe aviar H5N1 en la Antártica: su regulación en el marco del Sistema del Tratado Antártico y el derecho interno", y cómo los resultados provisionales del mismo sirvieron para incidir en los procesos de toma de decisión de las Reuniones Consultivas del Tratado Antártico. english: The publication describes in general terms the origin and development of the research project "Prevention, control and management of H5N1 avian influenza in Antarctica: its regulation within the framework of the Antarctic Treaty System and domestic law", and how its preliminary results served to influence the decision-making processes at the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting.
