Image dataset of realistic breast lesions from physical breast phantoms and simulation studies

Abstract

Dataset of images used in a study called "Assessment of a method for manufacturing realistic breast lesions for experimental investigations". The dataset consists of two types of images. Images from a mammography unit of 3D printed breast lesions placed in a specifically designed container, which mimics compressed breast. Images from a mammography simulation study of breast lesions. The DataProcessing.xlsx containes detailed data and values of the performed ANOVA statistical test.

The study is implemented under contract No. BG-RRP-2.004-0009-C02 and is financed by the European Union - NextGenerationEU, through the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability of the Republic of Bulgaria under procedure BG-RRP-2.004 - Creation of a network of research universities.
