Abstract

Preindustrial Control (PiControl) Simulation Dataset. CESM2 Experiment names: FC = Fully coupled model, CESM2 (variables freely available at https://esgf-node.llnl.gov/search/cmip6/) MD = mechanically decoupled model, CESM2 (available at https://www.earthsystemgrid.org/dataset/ucar.cgd.cesm2.mdpc.html) NoENSO = No ENSO model, CESM2 Variables Meridional Wind Description The original dataset has a nominal 1-degree horizontal resolution and 32 hybrid pressure coordinates. The Zonal-mean dataset has regridded vertical coordinate converted from 32 hybrid pressure coordinates to 37 regular pressure coordinates.
