In today’s interconnected world it is imperative that we work together to better understand one another anddevelop skills and strategies for problem-solving and instigating change that can work across cultures andgenerations. SEE Learning is the framework through which we can help our students understand and manageemotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positiverelationships, and make responsible decisions. SEE Learning provides educators with the tools they need tofoster the development of emotional, social, and ethical intelligence for students and themselves. Research alsosuggests that service-learning programs can enhance a range of competencies pertinent to academic and mentalhealth functioning.
