Abstract

Récemment, le chantier de l’éducation en Algérie a connu une évolution dans le nombre de langues étrangères enseignées, l’anglais étant devenu la 2ème langue étrangère enseignée au cycle primaire après que le français. Cette révolution est pour nous l’occasion de nous interroger sur l’enseignement de deux langues étrangères en parallèle au primaire : Comment le corps enseignant appréhende-t-il cette cohabitation ? Pour y répondre, nous avons mené une enquête auprès des enseignants de français et d’anglais ayant en charge les classes de 3èmeannée primaire. L’objectif principal d’une telle enquête est saisir les représentations des enseignants de langues sur l’intégration de l’anglais au primaire.
