Alcoholics Anonymous in Mexico: Fragmentation and Strenghths

Abstract
En este trabajo se describen algunas características organizacionales de Alcohólicos Anónimos (AA), así como los antecedentes socioculturales e históricos que influyeron en su conformación. Asimismo, se presentan aspectos del desarrollo de AA en México y las particularidades que se observan en su adaptación a ese contexto social, destacando las diversas fragmentaciones que sufrió a lo largo del tiempo que, sin embargo, no han restado vitalidad ni importancia a AA en este país.
