PERBEDAAN PERUBAHAN WARNA PADA RESTORASI RESIN KOMPOSIT NANOFILLER DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN SISTEM PEMOLESAN ONE STEP DAN MULTIPLE STEP

Abstract

Resin komposit merupakan tambalan sewarna gigi berupa gabungan atau kombinasi dua atau lebih bahan kimia berbeda dengan sifat-sifat unggul atau lebih baik dari pada bahan itu sendiri. Resin komposit yang disukai yaitu resin komposit nanofiller karena filler yang kecil sehingga memberikan kehalusan permukaan yang baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perubahan warna pada resin komposit yang dipoles dengan sistem one step dan multiple step. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimental murni dengan desain post test . Penganbilan data dilakukan pada bulan Maret 2015. Sampel penelitian yaitu hasil cetakan tambalan resin komposit nanofiller berbentuk cakram dengan diameter 6 mm dan tebal 2 mm, yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling atau judgmental sampling. Analisis data menggunakan Kolmogorov Smirnov Test dengan derajat kepercayaan 0,05. Hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa kedua kelompok penelitian mempunyai p lebih besar dari 0,05 (p>0,05) yaitu p= 0,819 yang berarti data pada kedua kelompok penelitian tersebut memiliki perbedaan warna yang signifikan. Pemolesan resin komposit menggunakan sistem pemolesan one step dan multiple step yang direndam dengan larutan klorheksidin dapat membedakan warna dari resin komposit tersebut.
