Abstract

This paper presents a cuantitative behaviour analysis of metaheuristics, referred as Multiobjective X-PSO Forms (X-FPSO), making use of the Swam Intelligence concept (SI). Through many papers in this investigation line, the autors establish a cualitative correspondence between the ability of X-FPSO Forms to suit the five SI Principles (SIP), and the aptitude of Hyperheuristic’s Selection Function when such X-FPSO Forms compose its domain. Cuantitative Swarm Intelligence Indicators are proposed for allowing behavior characterization and differentiation of different movement strategies, derived from the original FPSO: the FPSO with constriction factor and Global Deterministic Star Topology, the FPSO with constriction factor and VonNeumann Topology, the FEPSO with Global Deterministic Star Topology, and the FEPSO GIStT (Global Individual Stochastic Star Topology). These indicators reflect key aspects related to the Swarm Intelligence, allowing iteration to iteration tracking of the Hyperheuristic Algorithm, serving as a guide for its Selection Function. A simulation is presented in the context of solving a combinatorial optimization problem, considered in previous works as a case study: the load balancing in a Three-phase Electric Distribution System.
