Abstract
For almost half a century, research into the development of one’s morality has focused almost exclusively on the development of moral cognitive processes, stating that moral judgment (i.e., the evaluation of whether something is right or wrong, cf., Haidt, 2001) is founded in moral reasoning (i.e., the moral reasoning about why something is right or wrong, cf., Gibbs, 1979; 2010; Kohlberg, 1981, 1984).
