Abstract
Genetic algorithms (GA) are generally considered to be suitable for solving large optimization problems. Even then, constrained optimization through GA is considered to be a challenging task because, GAs do not provide a direct methodology to solve such problems. For such types of problems, some modifications of the existing process of evolution have to be done or some special operators have to be used to satisfy the additional constraints.
