Abstract

The purpose of this study is to discuss the possibilities of shared management of the border area, focusing on the analysis of free markets in the city of Corumbá-MS, Brazil, on the frontier with Bolivia. Therefore, literature surveys were conducted, interviews and informal conversations with longtime residents of Corumbá. There was the need to establish dialogue between managers and territorial agents and that there are already channels that allow the induction of a shared management of the territories that make up the BrazilBolivia frontier, and surely others in similar conditions.
