Rinvenimento di una popolazione di Corythauma ayyari (Heteroptera Tingidae) su Jasminum officinale (Oleaceae): un nuovo fitofago per l'Italia.

Abstract

Il tingide orientale Corythauma ayyari (Drake) è stato riscontrato per la prima volta in Italia su Jasminum officinale L. in un giardino privato nella provincia di Caserta (Campania). La specie è brevemente ridescritta ed illustrata. Osservazioni preliminari compiute nel periodo di rinvenimento del fitofago (Novembre- Dicembre) suggeriscono che tale specie abbia generazioni sovrapposte. Il tingide, recentemente riportato anche per Francia ed Israele, risulta potenzialmente in grado di insediarsi nel Bacino del Mediterraneo.
