Abstract

*** In an economic recovery scenario, the scientific debate, about economic and social development, is looking for possible actions (and/or tools) that could be adopted by companies to improve their market positioning. Among these actions, the “company visit” assumes a growing importance: this initiative could create a new network that involves companies, non-profit organizations, citizens and public institutions. This paper focuses the attention on two aspects: the first part is about the presentation of the results of a project, “Destination firm”, currently underway, financed by Piemonte Region and the second section concentrates the attention on a theoretical model of evaluation concerning the economic value generated by the “company visit”.
