El Quijote educador.

El Quijote educador.

Abstract

"The Quixote teacher" is a story of a didactic experience in Ethics that emphasizes the education in values in Cervantes' novel. Firstly, it justifies the philosophic-literary focus and the methodology of the teacher, and secondly, it describes the most important values in the three stories selected: the self-sacrificing knight and the mistreated shepherd student, the impossible love between Marcela and Chrysostom and the advice of Don Quixote to Sancho when he was governor. For Cervantes the justice of the ancient values is as important as the freedom of the modern ones, both values being rooted in the consideration of the human person as an ethical and judicial universal being, fundamental principal of human rights that re-establish a paideia of the dialogue of the human condition.
