Abstract

El objetivo central de la investigación es, por una parte, contrastar la existencia de dos modelos comportamentales contrapuestos en el sector financiero, profundizando en el estudio referente al impacto que puede tener dicho hecho en la gestión de los intercambios y las relaciones con los particulares, y aportando una visión teórica que respalde las primeras interpretaciones. Por otra parte, explorar sobre las variables explicativas de los distintos patrones comportamentales aportando una evidencia empírica al tema en estudio por medio de una investigación con rigor científico. Este trabajo pretende desarrollar un modelo teórico explicativo construido sobre el conocimiento de las preferencias y comportamientos de compra del consumidor, unido al análisis del perfil personal del cliente, con el propósito de que facilite a las empresas a mejorar la propuesta de valor presentada a sus clientes. De esta manera, se espera que las empresas puedan tomar decisiones estratégicas de Marketing pro-activas, eficientes y eficaces que les permita aumentar el valor de su cartera de clientes y alcanzar cuotas de cliente (“customer share”) que les retribuya por una parte, con mayores niveles de rentabilidad para su negocio y, por otra, con un mayor valor social para la empresa. En resumen, esta investigación pretende contrastar si realmente existen dos modelos comportamentales opuestos en el mercado financiero de los particulares, existiendo una relación significativa entre las dimensiones personales, actitudinales y comportamentales utilizadas en el modelo explicativo.
