Los bares como equipamiento urbano: propuesta para una ciudad sin derecho de admisión

Abstract

Este artículo explora el potencial de bares y cafeterías urbanos como infraestructuras públicas que promuevan la inclusión social y el derecho a la ciudad. Ante la creciente segregación urbana, estos espacios comerciales pueden desempeñar un papel clave en la garantía de derechos fundamentales como la alimentación y el refugio. A través de un análisis teórico y el estudio de tendencias contemporáneas se argumenta que la regulación de estos lugares con fines públicos generaría nuevas oportunidades de interacción y cohesión comunitaria. La propuesta plantea el reconocimiento legal de ciertos bares como infraestructuras sociales accesibles, participativas y vinculadas a la comunidad. El modelo resultante establece criterios de accesibilidad, adecuación e integración espacial, promoviendo los bares como nodos de sociabilidad y reconocimiento, esenciales en la vida urbana contemporánea.
