Abstract

Las población peruana rural en su mayoría no cuenta con agua potable, por tanto planteo a través del presente estudio evaluar el efecto coagulante natural de Opuntia ficus-indica con la disminución de la turbiedad del agua del río Grande en el departamento de Cajamarca para el año 2021, con el propósito de dar solución eco amigable reemplazando a los coagulantes químicos, en tal sentido el objetivo fue cumplido a través de la determinación de valores óptimos en los factores de concentración, volumen, agitación, así mismo se analizó el efecto del coagulante natural en el pH. Las pruebas se realizaron en el laboratorio INNODEVEL, en un largo proceso experimental, se aplicó un diseño multifactorial 2x4x2 con un total de 16 tratamientos y 2 repeticiones para cada tratamiento, finalmente se demostró que la aplicación del coagulante natural en el agua es eficaz porque la remoción de la turbidez más alta se encuentra en una concentración 3% en una dosis 1ml del coagulante natural para las diferentes agitaciones, las cuales fueron 53.08 % (30), 78.13% (60), 74.49% (120) y 79.78% (180); siendo el de 60 y 180 RPM con mayor remoción.
