Abstract

Le séminaire a pour ambition de questionner la notion de politique et de proposer une démarche analytique spécifiquement ethnologique et anthropologique de la politique. Le séminaire doit son impulsion au constat de l'impasse dans laquelle se trouvent les études de la politique qui se revendiquent de l'ethnologie et de l'ethnologie-anthropologie mais qui s'inscrivent en réalité dans les objectifs d'autres disciplines (principalement, de la science politique, de l'histoire, de la sociologie et du journalisme). Avec l'objectif de restituer la subjectivité à l'oeuvre dans les situations politiques, les séances mensuelles se développent sur la base de deux propositions fondamentales : la politique est d'abord de l'ordre de la pensée et non de l'ordre des « réalités objectives » ; la politique comme pensée se présente sur deux modes : en intériorité et en extériorité.
