Most of the documents about local development are mainly about what’s “local” in scales where talking about metropolitan spaces and topics seems impossible or unimaginable. Due to this, this work pretends to give an answer to 3 main questions about local development and the metropolitan phenomena, this means, we are trying to answer the following questions: is there any space for “local matters” in a metropolitan context?, Can a metropolitan zone be an adequate space for local development? And, can a “local” matter be “metropolitan”?
