Abstract

C’est au nom du « climat délétère » et à « l’air porteur de miasmes» des marais qu’ont été conduites les grandes opérations de déssèchement des zones humides à partir du 17ème siècle. C’est aujourd’hui au nom de la conservation des archives climatiques contenues dans la tourbe que sont menées des opérations de protection de ces milieux.
