Factores asociados a la gravedad de las notificaciones de sospechas de incidentes adversos a los dispositivos médicos reportados durante el 2018 y 2019

Abstract

En este estudio se presenta los factores asociados a la seriedad de las notificaciones de sospechas de incidentes adversos a los dispositivos médicos reportados al centro nacional de farmacovigilancia y tecnovigilancia de la Dirección General de Medicamentos, Insumos y Drogas del Ministerio de Salud de Perú en los años 2018 y 2019, la metodología utilizada implica la recolección y el análisis de datos cuantitativos y cualitativos de modo retrospectivo, es estudio no experimental y descriptivo. Se analizaron un total 2262 notificaciones recepcionadas entre los años 2018 y 2019. Se plantearon hipótesis con la finalidad de asociar los distintos factores con la gravedad de las notificaciones de sospechas de incidentes adversos, dando como resultado que existe asociación entre la gravedad de los casos y los factores como el riesgo del dispositivo médico, la temporalidad de la detección del incidente adverso, el tipo de notificador, la causa probable del incidente adverso y el tipo de establecimiento de salud, esta asociación fue demostrada por el grado de significancia en donde se obtuvo p < 0.05. Esta asociación nos permitió tener una orientación más clara en el enfoque de las acciones que se realizan como parte del sistema de tecnovigilancia a fin de reducir y prevenir los incidentes adversos relacionados a dispositivos médicos.
