Prevalencia de neoplasias del cuello uterino y su asociación con factores de riesgo y citología anormal, Hospital Regional de Moquegua-2017

Abstract

Objetivo: El presente trabajo de investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la prevalencia de neoplasias de cuello uterino y su asociación con los factores de riesgo y citología anormal en mujeres que acudieron a consulta en el Hospital Regional de Moquegua en el 2017. Método: La investigación fue de tipo aplicada de nivel descriptivo, correlacional, retrospectivo y diseño de campo o no experimental. Se trabajó con una muestra de 152 pacientes mujeres que fueron atendidas en el Hospital Regional de Moquegua. Se utilizó como instrumentos de investigación una guía de observación estructurada de datos validados y confiables. Se planteó como hipótesis que la prevalencia de neoplasias de cuello uterino es alta y están asociados a los factores de riesgo y citología anormal. Resultados: Los factores de riesgo socioeconómicos fueron el grado de instrucción secundaria (44.1%), edad entre 22 a 49 años (69.1%) y ser convivientes (42.8%), bajos ingresos económicos y ocupación ama de casa (71,1%), sin ingresos propios (64.5%). El el inicio sexual entre los 16 a 21 años (67,1%), tener dos parejas sexuales (55.3%), haber tenido una infección de transmisión sexual (57.2%). Los FR reproductivos fueron la paridad de dos partos (34.9%), el primer parto a los 16 a 21 años (68.4%) y el número de partos vaginales mayor o igual a 3 (42,1%). Conclusiones: Se concluyó que la prevalencia de neoplasias de cuello uterino es alta y estuvieron asociados a los factores de riesgo económico, social, sexual y reproductivo; así como a la citología anormal.
