Abstract

La nueva expedición del navío de investigación de pesca "Wa1ther Herwig", del Ministerio Federal de Alimentación en Bonn, no tiene tanto por objetivo el descubrimiento de nuevas pesquerías y de nuevos métodos de pesca en alta mar, sino la aplicación de un nuevo sistema de conservación de pescado, colocado en hielo, mediante rayos X. Antes de la partida para los mares de Islandia se montó en el "Walther Herwig" una instalación de rayos X para la llamada "Radio-Pasteurización" de percas rojas.
